Our board and train program focuses on providing comprehensive training and positive experiences for dogs in a consistent, low stress environment with certified trainers. This program aims to teach dogs various manners and social skills while avoiding the use of correction collars, force, or intimidation.

Assessment and Customization: Each dog is individually assessed to understand owner’s goals as well as the compatibility of the dog and trainer. The training program is then customized to suit the dog’s unique characteristics and the best was to achieve the owner’s goals.

1. Positive Reinforcement: Training is centered around least intrusive, minimally aversive methods. Desired behaviors are rewarded with treats, praise, toys, or other forms of rewards to encourage new habits. No corrention collars, force, or intimidation in our programs.
2. Consistency and Patience: Training is consistent and paced appropriately to prevent overwhelming the dog. The 4 week program allows the dog to acclimate to our home to facilitate the best learning experience. 
3. Owner Involvement: While the dog is in the board and train program, owners are often included in the process through regular updates, progress reports, and required in-person sessions to learn how to reinforce the learned behaviors at home.
4. Transition and Support: Once the training program is completed, the dog is transitioned back to its home environment. The trainers provide guidance and support to the owners for 90 days after the program to ensure a smooth continuation of the dog’s positive behaviors and skills.
